The cabin was wonderful, great view, quiet, secluded. However, if you don’t have an SUV good luck getting up the driveway. It hasn’t been maintained for quite some time and there are some pretty big ruts to maneuver around. The cabin was locked when we arrived and it was just by chance that our son happened to find the key stashed outside under the deck. The cabin looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for awhile. There was a broken clock on the counter with a note from the previous occupant which had been at least a month prior. The biggest issue was the driveway. It rained one of our nights there and getting up and down it the next morning was quite the adventure. Glad we brought our Dodge Journey and not our Toyota Yaris. But, given these things, the property is gorgeous and we did have a really nice stay. Yankton is close by with all the things you need in case you’ve forgotten something, and our boys spent everyday fishing on the river which is just a short drive away (one word of advice, don’t drive down a minimum maintainence road after a 2 inch rain).
