"Such a cozy cabin and some amazing trails right behind for exploring by yourself or with dogs. Loved the open floor plan and the loft area, much bigger than anticipated. Had an amazing stay and look forward to renting it again. 10/10 recommend in the winter, can only imagine how it is in the summer."

"Stayed for 2 nights for a weekend ski trip. Comfortably slept 6 adults and 2 children. Very rustic but had everything we needed. The biggest issues we had were the heater seemed to shut off on its own a few times due to it needing a new filter. We also noticed the shower seemed to leak all over the bathroom floor which was inconvenient and there was apparent water damage on the wood around the shower which indicated the leak has probably existed for a while. "We had 2 families stay at the cabin(4kids and 4 adults) for an annual weekend trip to Santa’s Village. The cabin was very new and clean. Tons of space for everyone to spread out. The house is 3 levels and there was more bedrooms than we needed. It was convenient to have a full bathroom on each level and a washer/dryer for use.Overall a great experience, would definitely book it again."

"The house is bright and inviting, it provided us with more than enough space for our weekend away with our adult children and dog. The lake was peaceful and we were able to walk out on it. I only wish I had brought a pair of cross country skis!The host was very responsive with our concerns. "The house is definitely sunggled in the woods of Sugar Hill. Very peaceful. The home is clean & spacious. We did not cook there but there appeared to be plenty of pots/pans, etc. It is located about 30 minutes from Lincoln, where we visited the Ice Castles. We could not get the propane fireplace to stay lit, so hopefully John, the owner will investigate. Thank you!"
