I own two properties myself and keep them very well maintained and make sure that I have supplies and what not. This unit when we arrived had not been cleaned because of miscommunication, which can be understandable, except it was beyond, not just being cleaned from the Wednesday of the previous guest. There was dog hair and corners. All the furniture is stained, nasty stinky rugs that I had to stuff into a closet. Evolve offered to move me after I had cleaned the entire unit and inform them I had had a stroke a month ago. No one cared. I tried to contact the owner three different times and she never even answered me through the app. After I had finally cleaned and it was late at night she sent me an email saying I’m sorry and that was it. They took $50 off my stay but the money wasn’t the issue here. It was just the way I was treated and how horrible the communication was and how much this unit did not represent what was presented in the listing. The major issue was that the two pillows that were in the Master Bedroom had a blood on them probably from a nosebleed, but why were they not removed immediately. I feel like some of these companies that own multiple units are not keeping up with their cleaning crew and they are leaving nasty things that can make people sick. We had no sheets for our bed we had asked for them and never even got the sheets the next day. Two pillows were finally delivered the next day, but the first night we slept without any. Worst stay ever.
