Amazing

They make every accomodations you will need for your stay. Check in and out was so easy. The cabin is beautiful and very spacious. The hot tub worked great. I couldn't say enough good things about this cabin out the property managers.

This was the perfect hub for all the local sights we wanted to see. So wonderful to come back from a long day of hiking to soak in the hot tub. Very fast communication from the host. Comfortable beds, loved the horse theme decor and overall was so quiet and nice. Thank you for having us!

Wonderful stay

Cabin was beautiful. Location was beautiful. There was a bad smell in the laundry room and when I pulled the drawer out in the living room I did find some mouse droppings. I would recommend this cabin though. We enjoyed our stay and had a great time. It’s also a plus because you are close to the natural bridge and plenty of stores, restraints, and gas stations are nearby.

Great little slice of heaven!!

Manestay is a tucked away on the top of a mountain cabin with great deck space overlooking the rest of the mountain. Great area to look at stars thru our telescope or by the naked eye in the hot tub!!! Be sure to have 4x4 vehicle to make it up the driveway. Very clean and had everything that we needed to cook dinner and the rest of our activities while we stayed there. Will be coming back and highly recommend it!!!

It feels dark and dirty

It’s extremely difficult to get to. Bring a truck. The floors were dirty. I don’t mind the old wood, but at least clean them. They need new linens, king size pillows, our pillow cases didn’t even match. It just seemed dark and dirty. Perhaps some guests steal things and that’s why the don’t have better quality items. Leather furniture and a rug would do wonders, as well as nicer blankets, quilts, comforters. The bed downstairs was comfortable. Bathrooms are nice. Bring candles, it’s a bit musty smelling. The area is beautiful. You have to go up the sky lift. Absolutely gorgeous!

Quiet and Comforting

We had a great visit at Manestay! We loved the cabin…plenty of space…nice and quiet. I notified the property management that the map provided was deceiving since a new cabin had been built. Hopefully, they will get that updated to ease the confusion of finding the cabin. Regardless, I highly recommend this place!

Nice short trip

Enjoyed the cabin and the Red River George area. The cabin fit our needs. A little hard to get to but you are in the mountains. The owner keep us informed of all weather threats. Plenty to do in the area.

Relaxing

I loved the location, somewhat secluded, 13 minutes from grocery, very quiet, and a very well appointed house. The gravel driveway is steep and not for the faint of heart, but I have all wheel drive so had no issues.

Great rustic cabin back in the forest

My family of 4 really enjoyed our stay in the Red River Gorge area. So many great short hikes. The cabin was conveniently located to many trailheads and attractions. The road to get to the cabin was rugged and fun. The cabin itself was plenty big enough for the 4 of us, and we enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after some long days on the trails. Would recommend staying here if you are in the area.
