"This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. "Lake nice. Rooms like any Ibis but too expensive. Small swimming pool we didn't use it. And paying extra for amenities and Internet it's just a terrible idea. Why don't they just ad 15 pounds to the price of the room and don't act like a low cost airline. The resort is not low cost. Brilliant lake view from the Lodge. Ugly restaurant and bar. The machines doesn't work they keep your money and lady in reception couldn't help. It's not a 4 stars hotel! ITS NOT LAKE...

"Nice caravan, situated close to all amenities, if you have stayed in a Haven Park before this caravan would be classed as a Bronze accommodation, to give you the comparison if you were to book your stay with Haven direct. Weather was great, park very busy with the weekend campers (tents) this area was packed, kids play park was a free for all, I would say too small for the amount of families staying onsite, wonder what the middle of summer holidays would be like when all caravans and camping...

"The property is undoubtedly small. It was very clean and comfortable - a perfect base for exploring this wonderful area. Plenty of grocery stores and pubs/restaurants in surrounding area. A very steep narrow staircase leading to the second level of the property. I note this has been mentioned in other reviews too. Overall, my wife and I were very satisfied with the property."

"A great stay at a beautiful cottage right in the thick of it. Immaculate and cosy at the same time. Freeview telly for our second evening which was perfect on leather reclining sofa. . Cutting our breakfast sourdough was an olypic sport need a serated bread knife"

"Owners of Cottage provided a phone number to call one week before our arrival. Numerous attempts each day and "no one" answered the phone. And there wasn't any way to leave a message. On our way to the unit, we had an emergency, one member, in the emergency room for 3 hours. I tried getting hold of the unit, no response so I called VRBO. We had to cancelled because I could not speak with the owner about our situation and their accommodations. Request complete refund."
