"Communication with Courtney, the property manager, was fine until our arrival. We arrived around 4pm and the door code did not work. I called 4 times, and texted many times with ZERO response. We have a friend who knows Courtney’s husband and he gave us a different code. That didn’t work either. Finally Courtney’s husband came down to the unit and got my husband in. "Enjoyed our stay at Steps to the River. House met our needs in terms of amenities. Coffee maker too small for a house that sleeps 8. Beautiful view from patio. Location is convenient, close to river, close to Martinez Lake cantina and Fisher's Landing cantina."

"House was ideal for our group, with a large, well-equipped kitchen, large great room and sofa/tv, and an easy walk to the dock where we could keep our boat. Also not far off the main channel and we were able to find a beach just inside the 5 MPF zone. Would definitely stay again."

"I tried to check in but there was no keys and the lady in charge and who handled the stay had an emergency and was not around. I ended up not getting to check in. We never got to even see our room. I tried to contact her but she never returned my email. Maybe something happend to her Hope she’s alright. We were out the money we spent I assumed. Thanks"
