"The home is very well equipped for those traveling with dogs, but we did not. Also given that it is dog friendly, I'd say the house was very clean. Kitchen is very well equipped especially if you want to bake, and the beds were comfortable. Location was a little difficult to find because we arrived at night but we managed. It's a great spot if you are exploring the area and just need a home base, but nothing special. Hot tub was nice during the day surrounded by trees but was difficult to figure...

"We were visited daily by deer: a buck, doe and several young ones. The ocean glimmers, the stars come out at night, and you can snuggle in front of the lovely fireplace. The location gives you easy access to Gualala and the Sea Ranch Lodge. Be sure to read the Independent Coast Observer newspaper and listen to KGUA radio 88.3 FM to find out about all the local events. Pipers Reach is clean and comfortable. You'll really enjoy your stay."

"House was extremely well equipped, hot tub was in excellent working order. Great views from the patio and very close to coastal hiking trails. Saw lots of wildlife (deer, turkeys, gray fox) and marine life (whales and sea lions), and really enjoyed the deer and turkeys in our front yard every morning. The only negative was window screens that were non-existent or in need of repair, overall it was a great experience and would recommend."

"Our family of four stayed at Paradise for the long weekend. The home was easy to check-in and immaculate. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, and we had access to kayaks and paddle boards. The view of the river was beautiful. The location was great. We were just minutes from delicious restaurants and enjoyed hiking in nearby Armstrong Redwoods and the Jenner Headlands Reserve with breathtaking views of the ocean. The host was excellent. Offers spectacular views from front yard and backyard, and lots of entertainment with the game room and swimming pool. David is a warm and welcoming host, very easy to communicate with. "My husband and I booked a two week stay here, the property was absolutely amazing! Great interior design, the exterior gardens were also elegantly put together and serene. We enjoyed the fantastic hot tub in the evenings. Plus, it's all conveniently just a mile away from everything in downtown Guerneville. Will definitely stay again!"

"We were able to enjoy the beach/ocean views from the house windows and from 2 patios. The large garden entrance with hot tub was relaxing. The property was enclosed by a fence and felt very secure and safe. Mostly we loved sitting on the deck, watching the ocean and wild life and walking along the coast and observing the changing ocean views."

"We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at the newly revamped Dawn Ranch. Went for a couples weekend and did the cottage, spa, dinner. Cozy fun vibes. Reduced stars for cottage being a little cold/drafty (that’s me), spa being a little intense about the rules, and restaurant as well. They had to turn away sooooo many ppl without reservations so def make them for dinner! Free wine tasting and excellent masseuse a plus. "
