"Property was very clean, amazing views and lots of wildlife to watch. Property manager was very communicative and property was well stocked. A little further out from bar harbor and Acadia that we normally stay but view was well worth it."

"The cottage was absolutely adorable with all the amenities of home in a small package. Very clean, modern yet that cottagey feel. The loft area for sleeping was very cozy, unique and the mattress very comfortable. The kitchenette area has most everything you could want down to an induction cook top, pots, pans and all cooking utensils. "We had a great stay at Acadia Yurts! Kids enjoyed the loft and parents enjoyed the space of the larger yurt. Karen and Aaron are great hosts; always responsive and helpful. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great experience near Acadia National Park!"

"If you're going to Acadia, this is a great alternative from the overcrowded frenzy of Bar Harbor, or the overpriced chain hotels/motels around Mount Desert Island. Located just outside Southwest Harbor, this is a quieter corner of MDI with a little village that has a few stores and restaurants (most close at 8pm, so we didn't get to take much advantage). It's about a 15 minute drive from Bass Harbor Light, and about 25 minutes from Bar Harbor, so keep that in mind when planning your visit. The...

"My husband, our 3 teenage kids (15, 16, and 16), and Pepper the pug rented out the two pet friendly yurts. These were perfect to have a nature feel but with amenities to suit a day of sweating from adventuring in Acadian National Park! The owners were so friendly and tentative and would text back whenever we reached out. It’s nice and secluded from all the madness of the harbor areas but still a quick drive to any and all area attractions. My kids enjoyed getting the complimentary coffee and...

"This wonderful apartment is located on the Quiet Side of Mount Desert Island, which was a big plus for us! As an added bonus, there is a grocery store (and a laundromat) 0.1 mile away. The beds and sofas are comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked with all the bakeware, cookware, crockery, flatware and utensils you will need. The bathroom is tiny, but certainly serviceable. And the owners, Tim and Sian are regularly updating and improving the property. Overall, we had a delightful stay!"

"Quiet location in the woods was a wonderful spot to unwind after long days of hiking. Enjoyed the fire pit, exploring the woods, and we enjoyed the uniqueness of an A-Frame cabin in the woods. Vicki was an attentive, and responsive host. Provided us with fabulous hiking recommendations to explore parts of the park we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. "Enjoyed our stay. Cool location.. felt like we were at sea… looking out the windows we were right on the water. Enjoyed dock access. Tried fishing… not much luck. Cabin wasn’t fancy, but we expected a more rustic feel. Kitchen was small but functional. Bathroom and shower very small but functional as well. A/C worked well, was modern, and cooled down the cabin, as it was unseasonably hot. Check in and out instructions were very clear."

"Everything we needed for our 3 day stay. We cooked our lobsters in the kitchen. Close to everything- grocery store, restaurants, hiking, Bar Harborand Cadillac Mountain. Nice swimming spots at Echo Lake and Sandy Beach. Definitely recommend this rental. Tim lives here, too! He and his wife are very friendly."
