Check in was very easy, though it did not feel like dealing with a person and was almost exclusively through automated texts from Vacasa. That was fine and convenient.
The location cannot be beat- there's no understating that.
Plenty of room for a medium-large group, decent amenities.
Cons are the fact the deck is roped off and inaccessible and there's no outdoor furniture either. This was not described in the listing and we were not notified despite it clearly being an issue for other people renting it too. FYI- there is no functional deck which makes outdoor access and outdoor spaces basically nonexistent. Not happy with that given how nice the weather was and the yard seemed well kept too.
The kitchen is poorly stocked when it comes to basics. Nice knife set but missing basics like strainers, measuring cups, etc that make it awkward to plan any meals at the property. Some courtesy items were included like soap and paper towels, but a very small amount of them.
Lots of spiders/bugs but it wasn't a huge detractor.
Mostly irked by the lack of disclosure of the damaged deck, which was a factor in us choosing to book it. Even just updating the listing would have been something but it's still falsely advertised.
I would recommend to others who are not interested in spending a lot of time on the property. It is so close by to nice places to eat, a farmer's market on Sundays, and plenty of breweries, entertainment, and hiking, that I think it was a decent deal.
