Stowe Trip

We had a great time with family. The house was very comfortable. We were expecting a better view from the rear yard but it is overgrown and the view is obstructed. Besides that we really enjoyed our stay.

Cozy cottage close to amenities

We recently visited the Stowe area and what a gem! Loved the spacious layout of this cottage. Downstairs has a wonderful en-suite with walk in shower, plus bedroom with two full size beds and bath off hallway. Upstairs king size bed, and room with twins/bunks. Shared bath. Beds were so comfortable and the area so quiet. Great night of sleep. We enjoyed just resting and scouting out the local area, and took an easy drive to Burlington, VT. Loved that it was pet friendly, and super clean. Well appointed kitchen with every gadget needed to cook meals, if that’s your jam. Tons of wonderful cookbooks and I’ve ordered some already. Overall, super clean, responsive communication from local host, comfortable home, relaxing environment. Would absolutely stay again!

Great place for the eclipse

We came up for the eclipse and this house was perfect. The rear deck faces South so it got great sunlight (or lack of sun during totality haha) and the weather held up. Everything was communicated clearly and thoroughly via Evolve. No issues with getting to the property or checking in. Everything was clean and as described in the listing. Well appointed kitchen and great heated mud room to dry up snow and wetness.

Family Vacation

The house was very spacious, clean and had all the necessities needed to start the vacation off as soon as we arrived. The neighborhood was quiet with a dirt road that was beautiful to walk our family dog on early in the morning and as the sun set. The house itself didn't have the best views as the mountains were blocked by the forest in the back of the house, but a short walk either direction on the road provided beautiful views. The house is also located near everything you would want to do while visiting Stowe. The management team was responsive and provided feedback quickly, which was greatly appreciated. Definitely a great place to stay and we highly recommend it.

Stowe getaway

The house is beautiful but it wasn’t cleaned very well. We found candy and wrappers under the crib the floors weren’t washed. The back deck had bees nest under the table and found out as they started attacking us. The back deck had grass and vines growing up through the grated as you walked outside. 12 of us stayed and there was only 4 washcloths in the house. The key wouldn’t let me dead bolt the door I came in thank goodness it was the same hey for the back door.

Stowe Ski House

Great property located only 5 minutes from the village and 15 minutes from the mountain. Excellent accommodations, we will be bringing the whole family back for a ski weekend next season. Highly recommended.

Great for a Ladies' Weekend

We had the best time for a ladies' weekend in Stowe. The house was so close to town and also easy to get to the mountain and shops and restaurants along the access road. It was well stocked with supplies, games, towels, and sheets. The house had cozy Vermont vibes. We got a lot of snow while there and the driveway was plowed before 8:30 AM. Mike also brought over a shovel, which was helpful when we needed to shovel out our cars. My one suggestion is to add a love seat or additional arm chairs in the living room. For a house that sleeps 12, only 6-7 people can comfortably sit in the living room. Overall, I highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful!

I cannot say enough about this property. The pictures are amazing, but the home is even more beautiful in person. It is such a comfortable home, we felt as though we had already visited many times before even though this was our first visit. The kitchen had everything you would need to make a meal, or enjoy take-out--and even had a great hot chocolate/tea/coffee tray! Everything was so comfortable and clean-I cannot recommend this home enough--although, my selfish side doesn't want to say anything, because I want to make sure we are able to come back without it being fully booked :) The location is perfect- a nice quiet street that is close to downtown Stowe, but still far enough away that you feel secluded for a nice relaxing vacation. Our dogs enjoyed the quiet as much as we did, and definitely loved playing in the snow as well! Russell was quick to respond to any questions that popped up, which made us feel great as first time travelers to the area. This is a great house for families or a quiet getaway with a loved one. You won't be disappointed!

WONDERFUL!

Our family has stayed in many great VRBO properties, but this was definitely one of our favorites. It is a lovely home, cozy yet spacious, in an amazing location so quiet & peaceful yet close to all that Stowe has to offer. The kitchen is an absolute dream to cook in. The home has been updated so well, with an incredible mud room, comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms and very clean. We loved the deck for morning coffee, afternoon yoga, evening wine, and carving pumpkins. We also enjoyed the wood stove and outdoor fire pit. Many great restaurants, shopping, and hikes in the area. The weather and autumn colors were spectacular. It’s simply a beautiful spot inside and out. Feels like a true home away from home. Russell was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We would love to stay here again. Thank you for sharing Russell!

Secluded spot not far from all the action in Stowe

What a great find this was for us. We are serial VRBOites with high standards, and this property was excellent. The property manager made the check-in process easy, and the property was exactly as listed in the web listing. You walk into a great mudroom that opens up to a combination living room, kitchen, and dining room. There is a wood stove (too warm for us to use) and wood beams in this room make it a cozy spot to relax and enjoy being in the woods. The King bed on the second floor was super comfortable, and there were plenty of other spots to sleep if you had a large group, including a bunk room for kids. The kitchen was well equipped with modern appliances, an ample supply of pots and pans if you plan on cooking, and even a good assortment of basic items you might need that you wouldn't think of packing with you. We will certainly add this to our list of spots to revisit. We were a bit early for the colors, but this would be a great location to enjoy those as well.

Enjoyed our stay here. The house is warm and cozy. Beds are comfortable with nice sheets, blankets and plenty of towels. Every bathroom has a shower with shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided. Excellent washer and dryer. There is only 1 tv in the living room which was fine since we all have smart devices to use. wifi worked no issues. Plenty of wood in the garage for the wood burner which is awesome! Thank you to the host for providing all paper goods and cleaning supplies.

Family Holida

The property is a well maintained with easy access and just a short drive to downtown Stowe. The two car garage is very helpful for brining items inside in case in inclement weather. We especially liked the heated floors in the entry way that keep or shoes nice and toasty. The house is stocked with cooking supplies that we found useful. We cooked almost every night for 10 people and never had an issue with not having a pot, pan or baking dish that we needed. The only issue with the property was the downstairs hallway bathroom has an issue with hot water in the shower. The faucet has hot water and the other bathrooms work fine. Overall we had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend this property.

Perfect Spot for time in Stowe

Very happy we chose to stay at this property. The location was great as you are close to everything in Stowe but still have a great place to relax in a beautiful and quiet natural setting. The home was very clean and well appointed with everything you would need for a get away. We especially loved the back patio, the gourmet kitchen and the openness of the floor plan. The property contact and owner were very responsive and offered some great insight on the local scene. We would highly recommend to stay here.

I would stay here 100 times over!!

Honestly, this house was perfect. So private, however 7 minutes to town. The kitchen was stunning and we spent most of our time on the back porch :) Thank you for the awesome stay!

Perfect spot for our weekend away

Amazing place perfect for a weekend in Stowe. Location is 6 minutes from downtown Stowe and the house couldn’t have been more beautiful. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful Property

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. Open floor plan, chefs kitchen, large bedrooms and located within minutes of downtown Stowe and countless hiking trails. We’ll be back!!
