"Lovely character cottage and lovely host. We didn't get any check-in instructions but our host popped out to greet us when we arrived (late) and showed us quickly around so it was no problem. Very well equipped which made for a relaxed stay."

"The kitchen facilities were good with plenty of plates and everything provided like dishwasher tablets. The host was brilliant sorting a minor alarm issue wilst we were out for the day, peace of mind that this is provided along with cctv outside the property was nice for us as anglers. "The kitchen has a good range of tools and equipment. A popcorn maker was provided with a complimentary packet of popcorn to try (which we did not). Although not in the description I read, there was an air fryer provided which we did try and found useful (we do not have one at home). "Off to a wee bit of a bad start as I was a very late arrival due to the storm & the hotel reception was locked. I had tried to contact hotel to inform them I was going to arrive late but phone lines were down due to the storm - in hindsight I should have emailed. Stay in the hotel was lovely, great room, excellent food & plenty of Guinness. Have stayed before & would definitely stay again. The hotel price is also extremely good value. "
