"This cabin was a wonderful place to stay! It was quiet except for the sound of birds in the woods. The interior of the cabin was clean and well furnished; the bed was especially comfortable. While we didn't make use of the fire pit, the screened porch was our favorite place to sit day or night. "Carla's cabin is an oasis of peace and relaxation. It is tucked into the woods and up against a mountain, offering an escape from the heat wave in the valley. We spent a lot of time on the porch listening to bird song and watching the hummingbirds. As usual, the house was well-appointed, comfortable and super clean. We keep coming back because we feel so peaceful there. So many whippoorwills! And Carla is the BEST host."

"This is our fourth stay here and we love it! The seclusion, peaceful hikes, fun pool table, comfy beds and all around great place❤️❤️ We went into town of Strasburg to Dominion Doggery and had the best burgers ever! I think it was on a timer At 2:30 am and ran for a long time and we had to shut the windows because of the noise of running water.
