"In what was a late decision, I booked to stay at The Commodore to participate in a community event in Mount Gambier. Even though the booking was late, the hotel accommodated a later checkout which meant that I had time to relax and shower after my event, which was welcoming. The hotel prefer to store card number on file to cover incidentals, but (like many other hotels) accept a bond as an alternative if you are not comfortable with that.
