"This property is such a gem! We've stayed in many cabins similar to Carrie's before and this blew the others out of the water! Rustic but modern enough to where you felt at home. "We enjoyed our stay at Paradise Cottage, a remote cabin in one of our favorite remote places - the Paradise/Whitefish Point area. Excellent space and provisions in the kitchen and living areas, comfortable and warm in the bed and bath areas. And, surrounded by woods on all sides (we enjoyed a fire in the fire pit on our last night). Location also perfect for our agenda - birding at Whitefish Point, at Vermillion Point, on Preacher Road. "This was a quaint, lovely place to stay. 2 BR and 2 Baths. Loved that the woods was behind it and view thru window was peaceful. Stayed on a Friday and Saturday so was able to walk across street to the Tahquamenon Lodge and buy a yummy breakfast at very good price. They serve Sat and Sunday mornings. "The cabin is exactly as described on VRBO. We had a little difficulty with the lockbox (probably because both my husband and I have arthritis in our hands). The lake is beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed evenings by the fire pit enjoying the lake. Great location as we visited the shipwreck museum and Mackinac Island. We also spent a day just enjoying the cabin, the lake, and watching movies. We thought we would miss internet but really enjoyed not having it. We wished that there was a bathroom...

"Our 3-generation family travelled to Brimley, MI to spend Thanksgiving weekend with our son, who is attending a local college. Trent & Kristine's cottage was a perfect spot for us. The cottage was stunning, well equipped and spotless! We enjoyed exploring the area during the day, and cozying up by the fireplace in the evenings. Trent and Kristine were very quick to answer any questions we had and made up feel very welcome in their cabin. Highly recommend! 10/10"

"The motel was perfect! Quiet, beautiful view of the lake and comfortable beds. The man who checked us in on our first night was warm and welcoming. The next morning, however, a woman rudely reprimanded me for accidentally and unknowingly dropping some crumbs in the main lodge. My apology was met with further rudeness. 5-stars otherwise. "
