Anniversary Celebration

The property is fantastic. Location, amenities, and stocking all as advertised and communicated. Beach was as private as it gets and Bathtub Beach which was fantastic for the kids was a mile walk down the beach. We had 10 of us at As Good as it Gets. The porch area, plunge pool, and hot tub were a natural gathering place for the family. We had another 11 of us at another Beach House, two down the beach and ours was perfect for hosting cookouts and the beach party.

Fantastic Location and Premises

We had an amazing week! As Good as it Gets is a beautiful, well-maintained property and the location between the intracoastal and ocean is perfection. We were able to enjoy what is essentially a private beach, with amazing sunrises and shelling. The fishing off the dock was fantastic as were the sunsets. The house is definitely the most well-stocked rental we have ever had. The amenities were numerous, and as a party of 6 adults, we were very comfortable. Al was very responsive to any questions. Highly recommend!

What a find!

Absolutely stunning with breathtaking views—yes, multiple!No exaggeration here—this place has everything you could possibly need and more. We’ve stayed at several VRBO rentals before, but this one easily tops the list. It’s the most comfortable, well-maintained, well-stocked, and impeccably clean property we’ve experienced. Wonderful stay

Loved it is on the beach. Very private beach, few people around. Well stocked with everything needed. Received entrance pass to nearby Marriot. The river access with kayaks and paddle boards and calm waters was nice for family. Close to lots of nice restaurants (11 Maple Street is amazing!). Excellent time!

Perfect location, great with kids

The location is simply amazing, with the beach on one side and the dock on the other. The place has every imaginable thing you might need from toys to kayaks to a full kitchen. Our kids had a great time. We had a plumbing issue, but the owners fixed it the same day. The only downsides are that it's expensive and there is a lot of stuff, so it can feel a bit cramped. Also, the top floor requires basically a ladder to access. This was okay for my 70 year old mom and 3 year old son, but could be a problem for others.

The best vacation I have had in 10 years!

Everything about this trip was terrific. I watched the sunrise every morning and the sunset every night from my vacation home. The host thought of everything and anything someone could want from water shoes to kayaks to board games and books in the house. The hot tub facing the ocean was fantastic. There’s a small pool. The view from the upstairs rooms is amazing. The large dining room table allowed me to have my nine person family enjoy lunches and dinners. The table on the back patio allowed me to enjoy coffee watching the ocean in the morning. The host responded to any of our needs immediately.I will certainly go back to this property in the future.

We love this quiet, beautiful location. We’ve been coming here as a family for 8 years & now have a grandchild who joined us too. The house is great, the beach is great, the amenities at the Indian River were also great.

Awesome location and all the amenities

Our group consisted of 4 moms and 8 teenage daughters. The house is the perfect set up for a few adults and lots of kids. This was our first visit to Stuart and we loved it. We went for Spring Break and the weather was warm. We loved being able to bounce from the beach side to the river side depending on wind and activities. You could watch the sunrise on the beach side and every night we watched the sunset from the riverside pier. The girls kayaked and paddle boarded every day. They

Stocked like nuts!

Two unusually good things about this property: privacy and the way it is stocked. I’ve stayed at a couple of dozen different higher end properties, and none has ever been stocked like this one! Huge selection of games and puzzles, all in excellent condition, guest slippers and robes in every bathroom, their outdoor equipment was thorough and all in amazing shape. They also had “surprises” throughout the property that you will stumble upon. I don’t want to ruin it for any future guests, but trust me, it was so fun to find and very creatively thoughtful. Someone thought of everything, and then went back and added more to the list. Now to privacy: this is always on the top of my list, not being stuck at the beach next to loud music if you don’t want it or rowdy groups. This property was the exact opposite. Most days, our beach was 100 yards of gorgeous beach just for us. We would see maybe two or three people a day walk by. The hot tub out the back balcony is gorgeous at night, with a great view of the stars and no light pollution. The rocks are some added beauty to watch the waves crash, rather than just straight sand. A few FYIs: A good Publix grocery store is just a couple of miles down the road. While the property is great, the town is not what you would think of when you think of old Florida “Beachtown” with little boardwalk shops or anything like that, but if you’re in it for beauty and privacy and an A++ property, I don’t think you can beat this place. And I am picky :)
