Relaxing getaway
Our stay at this cabin was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the views and the peaceful surroundings. Nestled in the woods, yet with all the comforts of home, this cabin offered the perfect balance of rustic charm and modern amenities. The interior was beautifully decorated, with cozy furnishings and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made cooking meals a breeze, and we loved the spacious dining area where we could enjoy our meals while looking out at the trees. The living room, complete with a stone fireplace, was the perfect spot to relax in the evenings. The outdoor space with the wraparound porch, and fire pit was an added bonus. The cabin was immaculately clean, and the hosts were incredibly responsive and welcoming. They provided detailed information about the cabin and surrounding area, which made us feel well-prepared for our stay. We would definitely return for another relaxing getaway!

The cabin was absolutely perfect! A gorgeous place in a beautiful setting. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a couple of meals there. The location was ideal for exploring the beautiful scenery of Western South Dakota. It was also great to be able to enjoy the trip with our dogs - so thank you for allowing us to bring them to your place!

Honeymoon Stay
The private cabin outside of Deadwood was an amazing house. The house was in excellent condition and the surrounding area was quiet. There were many attractions and hime within a few minute drive. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone stayi g in the area.

The Best VRBO Property Yet!
I must begin by saying this was nothing short of an OUTSTANDING experience. After numerous VRBO rentals, this was hands down the best one of all—no exaggeration. Mr. DiTomaso was such a thoroughly accommodating host, that we’ve been permanently spoiled! So much so, that we’ll be arranging future vacation-time, based on the availability of his cabin—appropriately named Destiny. The entire property was impeccably clean and organized. We had zero questions that hadn’t already been conveniently addressed. Despite its close proximity to Deadwood, we felt entirely isolated. The few times we left were done so reluctantly, for we had no desire to leave our new-found haven. And the DECOR! One cannot do justice to all of the intricately placed furnishings and trimmings—including not only luxurious comforts, but idyllic trinkets of local lore. The photos alone couldn’t possibly capture such a lovely, inviting atmosphere. We spent the first hour reveling in each room, the cultural trimmings, nuances, and multiple options for ambient lighting. My sole complaint is that it’s SO wonderful, it practically made our dog disown us for making her leave! In short, there is too much to praise about this property and its surroundings, for a reasonably worded review. So I will simply say this… The DiTomaso’s found a literal gem of the Black Hills and turned it into a vacation masterpiece of true respite, solitude, and escape from the daily stressors of modern life. Bravo! And sincerest thanks!

Winter Getaway
With recent mild temps, we decided to venture out to the Black Hills and I’m so glad that we did. This cabin was amazing and by far the nicest place that we’ve ever stayed in. From the moment we stepped in the door, we were in awe. The privacy and views did not disappoint! And the location was perfect…just a quick drive to Deadwood and Spearfish. We definitely will be back!

Winter Getaway
This cabin was perfect for a couples getaway. It was so relaxing to be able to sit next to the wood burning fireplace and watch football. Our dog enjoyed being off leash and running down the driveway after sticks and jumping into piles of snow. We hope to come back someday when the snow is gone to hike for the gold mine!

Thanksgiving getaway
We had looked at this property when searching for a place to stay and when it came to staying there it was nothing less than what we had hoped for. My wife and I are the kind that when it’s time to get away and be free of society and all the noise, that’s exactly what we need and we found it. The cabin was so clean and had a “come home” feeling to it when we walked through the door. Often times when you stay at certain properties you feel very limited. We didn’t feel that there. It’s a place that’s truly a home away from home. Everything is clearly and plainly labeled in the house for its use with little notes and labels which my wife loved. The landscape of the property gives you that sense of ruggedness and adventure. We will be back again guaranteed!!
