"Very private location detached from the main house and sits above a garage like a tree house with big windows into the upper level of trees. Very new build and feels new, only ~2 years old but feels like it was just finished yesterday. Very clean and everything worked perfectly. Hosts were clear, prompt, and welcoming--especially with all the accommodations usually a trademark of a high end hotel. We went to the botanical gardens one day, and did the trail of 10 falls the next. Only planned one...

"We came up for The Mount Angel Oktoberfest at the behest of my 87-year-old German grandmother, who had the time of her life! We were so appreciative of our quiet, somehow equally spacious, and cozy home-base. The farmhouse was so charming, nostalgic, and peaceful. "Suited us well: one married couple and one friend, so we took the larger master with bathroom while our friend took the smaller room with a bathroom across the hall. Open plan with large kitchen, dining room, and living room area. Great lighting with ample overheads and skylights. Stayton is a quiet little town, nothing fancy but perfect location to visit Silver Falls, Oregon Gardens, Silverton, Salem, wineries, etc. We discovered a bonus river walk along the Santiam River as well!"
