"This is a beautiful home on a serene and secluded property. The amenities were so far above average that we felt like we were at a resort! We ventured out and visited Johnsonville State Park for a history lesson, a freshwater pearl farm for a unique pair of earrings, and a fabulous little market called Overholt's for fresh bread and jams. The entire stay was a great experience! "

The access to the river was difficult with VERY steep stairs that would be impassable by most prople. Definitely don’t consider this to have reasonable “river access”. "We have stayed here about 10 times over the past several years. We absolutely love it. It has all the necessity for river fun. We bring the boat because it has its own dock, we bring the 4wheelers, and the kayaks. Its safe for the kids. Everyone is super nice, and you might be invited to a cook out or 2. We have enjoyed cooking out with the grill, we have enjoyed the fire pit at night. Kids have enjoyed fishing. And a perfect quiet cove for the kiddos to play in the river if you bring boat or...

"We had a very enjoyable stay. Sleek and clean cottage with a unique design. It is right on the highway but the owners placed sound machines in each bedroom to override road noise. We had everything we needed and felt right at home. Really appreciated that I could bring my dog along. Thanks for a great stay. "

"We absolutely loved the place! It was so peaceful and tranquil! My wife and i enjoyed it very much! Feeding the fish and the turtles was one of my favorites! I would encourage anyone who is looking for a getaway on the water to give it a try. Also being able to walk out of your living room and step on to your boat is a major plus. The house was very clean and we had no issues at all. Over all i would give it 5 out of 5 stars. We have already booked our next trip!"

When we arrived at the cabin I found the front and back doors would stick so tightly that my pregnant wife could not open them. During our stay, we had to kill four or five roaches. "My wife and I have stayed at this location several times over the last couple of years. It is always very clean, well-stocked and Diane is readily available if needed. There was an outdoor Halloween Costume party at the cabin across the street with close to 100 people. My wife and I couldn't believe how well behaved and polite everyone was. They wrapped up at a decent hour no fighting or yelling. It is much different in our neighborhood in Florida. We look forward to our next stay."
