Nightmare
Furniture old and out of date. Rug is a trip hazard. Cobwebs in ceiling. Paint chipping inside and out. No view of Ocean just a huge dune. Bed mattress is old and to high off floor. Whole in arm chair. Stove falling apart

Many issues with basic amenities. AC/Heat,lights,WI-FI,TV. Property is very eclectic but run down. Needs to be better maintained. Wonderful location but will not re book.

Cute House, Excellent Location
House is much larger inside than it looks! Super cute and eclectic. Recommend having someone with a ladder clean the cobwebs in the rafters, but it was good ambiance for an October stay. Lol. Would definitely stay here again. Perfect for our 3 person family and easy beach access!

Perfect little hideaway in Holden
The A Frame is what drew us. The quaint decor and set up is perfect for small family. We had 2 adults and a cocker. The parking next door is quiet and monitored often. We had no problems. The people are so nice and the location is a must for those that wake, have coffee and head for the breach. We will definable back!!

nice place but too much furniture for such a small place. and they need to do something about the cats living under the house my wife is allergic to cats and fi they were in the house we could not stay there

Listing was ethically and blantently misleading. Listing states new furnishings, well-equipped kitchen, central a/c, dvd player. None of that was true.

Cozy Cutie
Overall our stay was good. The little beach front a frame was adequate accommodation but needs a little TLC. The A/C went out the first day we were there but the host had to window units installed quick which worked fine until the next morning when a repairman came and fixed the unit. The A/C worked fine afterwards but is completely rusted out and needs replaced. The house gave a feel of old rustic cabin that needed the cobwebs cleaned from the ceiling and an overall deep cleaning. The place is very small but works. The master bedroom only has a full bed so for a 6’3” man that feet hung off the end it wasn’t the most comfortable, not to mention my wife who is not short but we made due. The little loaf area has two twin beds and very cute but a little sketchy getting up to with the portable stairs/ladder and I would not recommend for small children but like 6 and above it would be mystical. The old boat in the ceiling is awesome! If you could get a queen bed in the master it would be nice. Bathroom extremely small, it gives the feel of a camper size bathroom but works fine. Overall we had a great time but the stay would have been much better if the little house was updated with new lighting, better bedding in the master, updated sofa and chairs throughout and just a overall deep cleaning. This place could be adorable, a true gem, it just needs some TLC.

Cute cozy home!
We loved this little bungalow! It was very clean and cozy and I loved the antiques and style of the home. It has a great beach access and I loved how quiet it was. Definitely a unique and fun place to stay!

Needed repairs n comfort
Lighting needs new light bulbs. The bed downstairs was not very comfortable and small. But location of property was perfect! Overall was great and we will probably stay there again and tell others about it. Thank you for letting us use this place.

Holden Beach First Time visit
We liked the location and the beach was beautiful. We enjoyed staying in the little AFrame but was disappointed that the downstairs bedroom and living room carpet was so dirty. There was several big dog pee stains in the living room. I was uncomfortable putting my 3lb yorkie on the carpet. The couch and chair were also dirty and needs replaced I have stayed in other dog friendly rentals that were very clean and no pee stains. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cooking pans

Fun Little House!
My husband and I had never been to Holden Beach so we weren't sure what to expect. The beach at this house is beautiful! The house is well decorated and just steps from the beach. It is directly beside a busy public access, so you do hear people and vehicle doors from early in the morning through late at night. It's not overly loud though, and the beach is very wide so it didn't feel too crowded. The house had some cobwebs in the corners but I guess that's to be expected in an older A-frame. There is no dishwasher (I realize it doesn't advertise one and we'd made an assumption, so I'm just giving a heads up). Also, Netflix is advertised as an amenity but you can't access it without the owner's Roku code, which we were unable to obtain when we called Vacasa. The bathroom is very tiny and the dining room table has uncomfortable seating. I personally wouldn't have wanted to share this small house with more than 1 other person but there technically is room for 4. Despite the negatives, we did enjoy our stay overall and would probably stay here again because of the location.

Just Okay
The amenities list for this property include "Beach View" and "Ocean View" but it has neither. It IS first row oceanfront, but sits at ground level and the dunes in the back are way taller than the deck. Seems like it wouldn't be that hard to build a raised deck on the side of the house, but as it is...no ocean view. The back deck has an umbrella base, but no umbrella to go with it, so no shade on the deck. These two details were the chief disappointment we had with this property. It's really small but that was fine for us. The decorations were nice but reached the point of clutter to some degree - you will have to move things out of the way in order to have space for your groceries, supplies and personal items. The front door is very difficult to close to the point of latching and engaging the lock, and from the outside the storm door handle gets hung up on the automatic lock - we had to just wrench it open several times. This is a cute little place but it needs some upgrading.

Awesome tiny cottage
Everything was great. Loved being in this tiny house. Cookware needs some updating and dryer has to go through 2 cycles to get your clothes dry. But this property is a great place to stay. Will definitely be back.
