Let me start by saying that I had high hopes for this property that I had boom six months in advance. First thing is the host Jing Yu is terrible with communication once the final payment was made. I had an appointment to see the property before my actual check in time and I waited after a 2 hour drive to this place for the host to never show up. I tried contacting her several times by text, phone calls and through the VRBO app and to no avail did I receive a response. I then contacted the Sheriff's office thinking I had been scammed. Once they left her a message she contacted them first, then contacted me apologizing with the excuse that her phone was on Do not disturb. By that time I had gone back home. The following day I returned to the property and had problems with the code that was given. I proceeded to call her again to ask for verification. She gave it to me and I let myself in. I did a thorough walkthrough of the house and found dirty stained furniture, a whole in the floor of the main floor bedroom, light switches that did not work, a broken refrigerator, and a chair with a broken leg. The grills which I asked her about months in advance were so dirty that I could not use them. One of the bedrooms was in the basement and the smell down there would not have been appropriate to have anyone sleep down there. I immediately took pictures of everything and sent it to the property management. She gave me an excuse and apologized for the inconvenience. I have pictures!!!
