Great lakefront cabin located on a quiet road, with a private dock. Has 3 bedrooms, along with two rough lofts with mattresses (good for nimble teenagers or older kids). Beds are firm but adequate. Very clean. Kitchen was spare, I definitely recommend bringing basic staples like salt, pepper, cooking oil, etc.
Inside is definitely old school but inviting: wood beams cross the high peaked ceiling, and the main room is dominated by a beautiful 15’ stone hearth. TV is large and hi def, nice touch to the living room.
Bring lawn chairs. House has two nice Adirondack chairs, but you will need more for the dock and the nice firepit.
Private dock is great, we swam and kayaked all week. Dog friendly, our Biggie Smalls swam all week with the boys. We rented kayaks from Bill’s Marine Service.
Great location: 8 minute drive to town, very quiet at night.
One warning: driveway is VERY dark at night. House signage is partially concealed by a tree, and the street address is literally handwritten on a wood post. Ownership needs to put some solar powered lights out on the driveway, we passed it several times at big it during the week, my older son even missed it while walk-in game at night.
