Respite on a beautiful lake
This house turned out to be a real gem. It was a lot bigger on the inside than it looked from the outside. The access and use of the lake was masterful. Multiple decks and a perfect dock just capped off a perfect lake visit. We did not use the grilling area or firepit on this short trip but a future visit will certainly be longer and will take advantage of these two great features.

Beautiful and serene
We had a wonderful stay at Remember When. Although it was the middle of the summer, we sat on the deck and the temperature was fine. Had planned to go kayaking but ran out of time. We'll definitely stay again if traveling to Tally.

Relaxing
We had a wonderful time. . The two decks and sunroom were great to hang out in. It is about 1 1/2 hour from St George Island.the beds weee comfortable. Could not have asked for a cleaner place.

Amazing Home
We absolutely enjoyed our stay. We often rent on Lake Talquin and this is by far our favorite thus far. The outdoor spaces are wonderful- very shady with breathtaking views of lake. Boathouse is great. Very close to well maintained boat ramp. We enjoyed the outdoor shower. Kitchen and LR smaller than average but still plenty of room for us as typically while men were watching TV we were in kitchen. Yard is fenced so our 4 legged baby had fun exploring while outside with us. Outdoor cooking was great- plenty of grill tools available for use. Owners were responsive- home was super clean. Made great memories with family- lots of laughs !!!

Yes… we “Remember When”!
Wonderful!!!! We could make this “review/rate” all about how clean, well laid out and the comfort of our stay, but that just won’t do justice of our overall experience at “Remember When”. Before you even step inside this beautiful cabin, you are met with a glimpse of a beautiful tiered yard that offers several seating areas along with the PERFECT grilling spot. All sitting areas offer a majestic view of the lake. While grandpa cooks up burgers, he can still watch the grandbabies as they try to “catch their dinner” off an amazing dock (that’s well lit for night fishing). A step or two down is yet another gorgeous sitting area, set up with swings, chairs and a firepit to enjoy watching the sunset as well as letting the kids get their “s’mores” fix! After a day of fishing, swimming, kayaking… (or as these grandparents call it “go! Go! Go!”), the adorable bedrooms upstairs are there for the kids to recharge. Downstairs is not only a super cute bedroom, BUT THE PLACE YOU WANT TO UNWIND! From the screened in personal porch to the outdoor shower/bathroom…… we were POSITIVE we had won the lotto on places to stay!!!! The owners are amazing! They took time to message us to welcome us to “Remember When”, make sure we had enough firewood, and ensure everything was going good! If you want to relax, be comfortable, let all your worries fade away….. plan your next stay at “Remember When”!

Beautiful Lake View
My family truly enjoyed our stay. We swam, rode the waverunners, fished, grilled and went out on the boat. The host and hostess were more than accommodating, even allowed us some extra time. I would definitely stay here again.

Multilevel peaceful gardens
Unique bilevel home. The shower downstairs in the out house setting is so relaxing that I am getting one for my home. Unique pieces of furniture throughout. The outdoors is peaceful, relaxing with three tiers of sitting places and 1 picnic area with two grills. Absolutely will want to rent again.

Very scenic, relaxing and had everything we needed.
Blooming jasmine and roses greeted us as we entered the gate, along with Tally the cat. That is a great beginning right there! We loved the multi deck back yard, each level had something to be enjoyed by all. The cottage is very clean and comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. My husband wasted no time to see what he could catch right off of the dock. A beautiful nice size blue catfish within the first hour, he ended up with 4 catfish and 2 croppie during our stay. The hosts are the best and made sure we had everything we needed! Fast to respond as well. We would definitely go back and stay longer. Thank You!

Wonderful place all about the Waterfront!
Adorable cottage home with gorgeous views of the lake from multiple decks overlooking the water. Great boat dock to fish from as you enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Kitchen fully equipped and very comfortable surroundings. Location of the home near multiple activities just a short drive away. Great communication with the host. All around wonderful experience. Very unique place with everything you need to enjoy a waterfront home. Thank you for sharing your adorable cottage!

Perfectly place on the Lake
We couldn’t have ask for more 😎 Weather worked in our favor to enjoy this beautiful place right on the Lake, the boat slip and lift made things even more easy to get in and out to the Lake and do some fishing. The community is great and we got our morning and evening walk in without worries. Miss Tally was a fun bonus and she for sure runs this place. We had the best time and will defiantly be back

Amazing Lake View
The Lake house was perfect for our family of 6 and had everything we needed. While this may not boast the hints of a 5-star hotel to us if definitely was a great stay. Kitchen was fully equipped and the beds were comfortable. Sitting at the dock on the lounge chairs were priceless. Main attraction is a resident cat named Tally. She’s the friendliest and most adorable. If your and animal person and love cats she’ll melt your heart. For the city slickers the modern out house charm was very cool. The grill, fire place seating on the upper deck enjoying the views of the lake was nothing but majestic.
