"We took my parents (86 and 88) for a three night stay and loved it. The house is clean, the owners provide lots of information, and access to the dock is easy (important for my dad who loves to fish but has mobility issues). But the pool was the most amazing part. "We absolutely loved our stay on Smith island in this adorable cottage. Laura the host was very responsive, friendly and helpful. Being first timers to the island, I had several questions that were answered very quickly. The cottage was clean, well stocked (which is important for this type of unique experience) and decorated very cute. The local people were very friendly and we enjoyed the scenery of the island. We will definitely be back!"

"This is the place to go to if you want to have a nice family gathering. The place was clean and it was nice to take the kayaks out on the river. My kiddo loved having his own getaway place in the basement, and it was nice with the upstairs being a family gathering area. A lot of wonderful things are (between 10-30 minutes away).
