It has a big kitchen and living room where we were able to do some work related computer work a bit. The host went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. She had milk and eggs in the house for our first breakfast. It's in a quiet neighborhood. If I return to Rotorua, I am definitely staying at her place again."

"No cooktop, no freezer compartment to keep ice blocks cold. No top sheet on either single bed, light over bathroom sink does not work, windows were filthy inside and out, floor between toilet and wall was dirty, no hand towel or face cloth provided. Only wine glasses provided for drinks. Only one mirror in unit, none in bedrooms. We can’t believe this place meets even minimum standards for guest accommodations. Only one tea towel provided, hot plate had no instructions and only Chinese labels...
