"Our family enjoyed our lake stay so much. The cabin was perfect for our group of 6 and had a great porch area to look down at the lake. The kids spent lots of time in the lake fishing and playing. We brought a paddle board with us and along w the provided kayaks, there was plenty to enjoy. We also spent a day on the Nantahala River at the NOC."

Description is completely accurate and it was fully stocked with anything you might need such as all kitchen items, bathroom items, etc. Very peaceful and a perfect spot to "unplug". "The Lil House is a nice, cozy spot for a couple to unwind and enjoy the nearby mountains and what the general area has to offer. I enjoyed the slightly rustic and mountainous themed decor. Lots of little lamps; very good interior lighting. Cabin is very easy to get to with two driveway entrances, however parking is a bit tight. Only one roll of toilet paper, but we managed. "We had a wonderful weekend visit at the cabin. The views and mountain air were so nice. The cabin is cute and quaint and comfortable. The drive up Wayah Rd is breathtaking of the river! So many waterfalls. We enjoyed fishing and river rafting and sight seeing while there. Be sure to bring what you need or grab on the way in a town since there are no gas stations or stores within 20-30 minutes. "
