Lovely garden area. Spotlessly clean. Surprisingly quiet at night as on a busy road which meant we were central and walking distance to shop, takeaways, bakery etc. Short drive to city and waterfront and Pukekura Park and river walks. Great value! Thank you so much for making our stay most enjoyable."

"Barbwire Bach has everything you need to enjoy its location with the added bonus of having access to their boxing gym. The kids absolutely loved it. Overlooking Opunake Lake and with the beach an enjoyable 3 minute walk away - or longer if the kids want to climb the pohutukawa trees and play on the playground, I have no hesitation in recommending Barbwire Bach and hope to stay again."
