My family of four had a wonderful week’s stay at this beautiful villa and would definitely recommend it and book it again.
It is in a lovely quiet location, overlooking a peaceful beach which can be reached by a short walk. A fifteen minute drive away is Zahara which is a bustling little town of shops, supermarkets and lots of restaurants and beach bars. During the week, we drove to see the ruins of a Roman town near Bolonia, the hillside town of Vejer de la Frontera and the lively town of Tarifa. We also drove to Barbate to eat at the acclaimed El Campero restaurant.
The house itself is very well cared for and the gardens are lovely - it all looks exactly like the photos online.
Our stay was really comfortable and relaxing - there are so many places to sit inside and out. You can always find sun or shade, whichever you want. We loved eating up on the balcony overlooking the beach and saw some stunning sunsets. Our 24 year old sons were very happy with the WiFi and we all enjoyed playing pool and barbecuing on the terrace. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals and dining.
We had some minor issues with the gates not opening with the remote control, the kettle repeatedly boiling itself and the sprinkler system going all morning. Ana was always good at responding quickly, sending someone to help with the gates, ordering a new kettle which was delivered and getting the sprinkler timings adjusted. She was a great host and we were very grateful.
