"The staff were wonderful, and the location can't be beat. We unwound each night with a half-pint on the beautiful terrace that is set along the riverbank. The building is a lovely old hodge-podge of levels. We were at the top of it, which involves a stairs-climb that could be hard for some. There is ample parking (very welcome!). It's at the edge of the village, which meant it was a short, pleasant walk to find country lanes for an evening's stroll. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly, and would be...

"We stayed in the garden suite. It was lovely. My only criticism would be that one of the legs on the futon in the living room area was broken. Our Daughter said the bed in the smaller bedroom wasn't very comfortable so we used spare duvets and a blanket to make it more comfortable. The small garden area was ideal for our dogs to be able to give them some space to toilet etc. The food in the pub was very nice, my only criticism would be the lack of vegetarian options. Overall we enjoyed our stay....

"This hotel was phenomenal.The check in person so was good.Gave lots of advice.Breakfast and dinner are available.The room was so cozy and gave amenties like water,sweets and biscuit.The room was very clean.The room had laminated pamphlets sheets of information about breakfast,bus times,Thoverton and Exeter town information etc.There is a pub below the rooms which is quite busy in the evenings to nights.This place is well taken care of and they take care of their guests.It is an exceptional place...

"Wir hatten einen kurzen, aber sehr schönen Aufenthalt, als Zwischenstopp für eine Nacht auf unserer Reise. Das Zimmer war klein, aber wirklich fein, mit gemütlichem Bett und sehr ruhig nach hinten raus. Das Frühstück war einfach, aber gut. Die Nähe zur Dartmoor Otters and Butteflies ist unschlagbar. "
