Centrally located for a lot of vacation fun
Was centrally located for diverse interests of three generations that included small grandkids to older empty nesters. Activities included Holiday World, Boating, Cave Tours and Wine tasting. There was plenty of room for the whole family.

Perfect Bachelorette Weekend!
Booked this for my sister’s bachelorette weekend. We had a group of 7. Everyone had their own bed and there was still plenty of beds to spare! Lots of seating inside and out. Cute and quiet property. We had a great time and hope to book again in the future. Only downside was no cell signal or wifi. While it did make for a nice unplugged weekend but some of us are moms and it was hard not having contact with the kids back home.

The house was clean and neat upon arrival. The team texted us and emailed with great information. We wanted a quiet place to stay and this was perfect. A nice walking trail across the road led down to Patoka Lake and our grandchildren were able to handle the path easily.

Stated on listing was walking distance to lake a bit deceiving but beautiful views. Enjoyed it tremendously. Our pregnant gdaughter fell on the gravel thinking there really should be stepping boards coming off the back from porch swing.

Bottom line; it was very clean and we had a good time there. The pictures flatter the conditions a bit; it is somewhat more rustic than it appears. Its comfortable, and we don't mind rustic. There are signs taped all over it, and lots of rules sent, telling you what to do and not to do, but maybe they have had disrespectful guests in the past. The local caretaker is very helpful and the cleaning person is meticulous. A couple things to watch for: The "Evolve" management company sent us a final instructions email saying check-in was not before 5:00pm and we had to check-out on Sunday by 10:00am or get a $100 fine. This changed our plans considerably, but then the night before we arrived the local caretaker said we could have it at noon and check out at noon. . Wish we had heard that from the start. Also, be aware that the house number of the address is not the number clearly there on the side of the building. You'll find it but not be convinced you are in the right place.

Family bash at the lodge
The lodge is very clean. Communication with owner excellent. If you have your own boat, I believe there is a ramp close by. We were renting from the marina and it was a 20 minute drive to get there so be aware. Three of the queen beds were in the garage. Again, we thought it as an adventure, but again, be aware depending on your group. All in all a great place for our party.

Memorial weekend stay loved it
Was a nice quiet place for are family get together. We all fit comfortably. Had a blast walking to the lake fishing and hanging out at the fire. One thing we had a issue with was the oven to cook biscuits should take 13 mins to cook took 40. Other then that definitely recommend this place to stay.

Cabin in the woods
Cabin is set up for large groups, ample parking and ample bedding. 2 living rooms so we never felt crowded. Appreciated the 2 refrigerators so that we could prechill the beverages before going to the lake. I hope the cabin never has wifi as it made the kids chase frogs and butterflies. A very pleasant trip.
