"Property was just what we needed for our short break. Close to town but with an ‘away from it all’ feeling. House was extremely clean and tidy. Kitchen was well stocked with all the equipment we needed for cooking our own meals. Lovely sunny spot. "

"We loved our stay here and would have stayed longer. The house is beautifully laid out with the living areas upstairs (beautiful views!) and the sleeping downstairs. The kitchen is quite well appointed and has an excellent oven and stove. It's a little drive to anywhere but we had a rental car so that was no issue, only 15 mins to Tongariro visitors centre. "

"We were up at Waimarino to ski for the week with our two young children, the house was a perfect little bolt hole when weren’t on the mountain!Our only issues were that while there was a log burner and wood for it, unfortunately the wood was all rather damp and there was no way to chop any smaller kindling to even get the fire going, thank goodness for the heat pump, so we were all sorted! Also the Freeview box lost signal on our last night, but no biggie, we were all ready for an early night by...

"The house was great, we stayed so my husband and brother in law could do the Tongariro Crossing. We all stayed including the kids and there was plenty of room and had everything we needed. "Wonderful property. We had pretty bad weather on our visit but the views and the cosy fire made the stay very enjoyable. Communication and details were really great. Highly recommend this property as a fabulous place to stay near the National Park where we enjoyed a fabulous hike. The pizza recommendation up the road was awesome as well."
