"This was an amazing place. Comfortable, relaxing, and homey. The furniture is beautiful. The plants are real. I long for a sense of place with history and character, not plastic flowers and indescript mass art. This house checked all tbose boxes. We liked it so much that we quickly reserved a stay for our return trip. This will be our go to everytime we go to Hannibal which is our favorite stopover on our way to Chicago. "We stayed here while visiting family in town and didn’t want to book multiple hotel rooms. This was perfect for our family. Very conveniently located close to downtown. Little bit of road noise in the adult bedroom, but we played white noise on a phone and slept right through it. House was accurately described in the listed and everything was very clean and comfortable!"

"Ignore the surroundings when you pull in. In the back of the storage lockers is an adorable basement-type apartment that is one of the nicest places we have stayed in. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and everything you would need was already provided in the apartment. It is spacious, and you won't feel cramped. And looking out the apartment door, you see the pond and beautiful trees. I found it very relaxing. My only "complaint" would be that the bed is too tall!!!!! I was too short to...

"Great size for three adults. The fenced yard was wonderful for our dogs. The host was very quick to reply to a question on check in day. We would stay here again. One item to note for those with asthma/allergies - there is a no smoking sign posted, but it does appear that other previous guests haven't honored this request. There is a lingering smoke smell indoors. The home was nicely cleaned, but this is a difficult smell to get rid of. "

"We loved this house! It's older, but well kept up and very charming! We had a group of 12, and there was plenty of sleeping room. Its a very short walk to downtown Hannibal, so we didn't have to drive anywhere. We enjoyed the shops, museums, restaurants/bars, riverboat, and the ghost tour, and we walked everywhere!
