We found the location peaceful and quiet. The nearest big town is Oban which takes about an hour to get there. My advice is to be well stocked with food and drink for several days if you're staying for up to a week. There is a village convenience store/cafe in case of emergencies for household products and food essentials and it also serves breakfast, lunches, cake and icecream. Very friendly locals and staff and the community local centre has a bar serving bottles/cans which also prepares fantastic gourmet burgers, pizzas, flat bread kebabs and chips, all at a reasonable price. The loch and shorelines are picturesque with plenty of trails and walks. The cabin was spacious with everything we needed. Remember to take your own towels for the shower and hot tub. Our only negative was we found the mattresses were uncomfortable/hard and the outdoor barbecue was wasn't cleaned from the previous occupations. Other than that, it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

A wee gem on loch Awe

We gave just wnjoyed a magical long weekebd in a lovely lodge with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A few highlights, the big hot tub was enjoyed by all, the beach cove almost fekt exclusive a lit of the time, a great place to lajnch our paddle board and jatak, the bbq grill was big enough to bbq for a family of 5 adults and lots of lovely walks nearby. We appreciated the large fan the owner suggested for midges and yes it worked, we also made use of the firepit. All in all we gad an amazing time and hope to return

A secluded and peaceful stay!

This was a very comfortable cabin, in such a quiet setting - we loved it! The beds were comfortable and all the facilities were clean and well kept. We had a lovely few days here - looking forward to coming back soon!

Brilliant place to stay

Our stay was amazing , the location was ideal and the surroundings are scenic , the condition of cabin was ideal , lovely and clean on arrival , only suggestion would be a path to the fire pit area, may have just been heavy rainfall before arrival but the ground was very marshy and kept getting foot stuck in Ground due to this , overall great place and very friendly hosts and very accommodating, great place highly recommend

Beautiful and peaceful location

Perfect for our fishing trip. Plenty of space inside & outside Cabin very comfortable, clean & kitchen well equipped. We took all our provisions with us as no supermarket nearby. Nearby cafe has a nice selection of food & drinks. Friendly service.

Amazing Hosts

Agnes and John were such helpful hosts that went above and beyond their duties, especially when some of our party were unable to attend due to last minute medical reasons. There was very good communication with speedy replies.

Amazing hot tub

Great stay, beautiful chalet. We were missing some towels (we only had 2 small towels for 4 people). Hot tub was nicely warm upon arrival which was great.

Beautiful location

Lovely property in a stunning location. We had 20 degrees sunshine the whole week so saw Loch Awe in all its splendour. Lovely little shop/cafe 5 minutes walk and a social club/restaurant. They’re not open every day (we were lucky that we had the bank holiday Monday which they remained open for) but in general they close Mondays and Tuesdays and restaurant only serves food Fri-Sun. So make sure you have stocked up as it’s quite a trip to the nearest supermarket!

Family get-away

Lodge was fantastic just what was needed for a couple of days away. Ideal for a bit of fishing on the Loch. My boys loved the hottub. Overall great stay

Beautiful lodge, beautiful location.

The lodge is set in a beautiful location with easy access in to the Loch for swimming and paddleboarding. There is also a small forest area to explore within the park. It's just few mins walk to the village of Dalavich where the cafe/local shop is. The lodge itself was equipped with everything we needed and I would definitely stay there again. The only criticism I can make is that there was lots of dust and a few cobwebs inside. The decking and pergola could be doing with a power wash. That's why I haven't been able to give a full 5 star review. These things could be easily rectified and I would happily return again.

Short stay

Overall pretty good, hot tub was fantastic and clean. Lighting was inadiquate outside on overall cleanliness could of been better. We ran out if toilet roll, only one roll per toilet. Over then the negatives, great place to stay, very quite and relaxing. Situated in a fantastic setting.

Lodge break

Had a great chill out time at the lodge. Hot tub was great addition and so near to the loch for water sports. Community centre just a short walk away has a bar and restaurant, pool tables and ping pong, and staff very friendly also amazing views over the loch Cafe and shop also near and cafe do amazing pizza but remember to book a table.

Wish I could stay a little bit longer.

I wish I could only stay for longer. It was amazing. Good size lodge with everything you need, literally just bring food. Perfect for children, we had a 3 year old with us and be enjoy it as much, plenty of space for him to play and ride his little bike. Host is very friendly and very easy to get in touch with. Hoenstly everything you need to just forget everything and have a well deserved break.

Another great weekend

This is a lovely lodge in a spectacular area. Second visit .The lodge was clean and perfectly equipped. The hot tub was great and your a short walk to the loch. Dalavich is a lovely spot with with great cafe come pub come shop. The owner is really friendly and the pizzas are fab. Lots of trails if you running/ walking and loch great for paddle boarding. Great stay all round
