The perfect quiet spot
Lots of animals to take pics of. The mansion ruins are a look into historic highlands. Very peaceful and the farm dogs are super friendly. Remember to bring your own food as the stores are quite a ways away. The hosts are super friendly too.

Absolutely Stunning
This is the perfect cottage, in the most beautiful location. It's perfectly situated. The hosts were most welcoming and friendly. The highland cow calfs were an absolute bonus. We will be back again

Pretty much heaven
If you could use a respite from a hectic life or packed vacation or - well, from anything, actually - and if your idea of a "respite" is fresh air, gracious hosts, adorable farm animals, friendly dogs and a clean, cozy cottage, I can't imagine you'd do any better than this. It has it all, plus country walks and reasonable* proximity to points of interest and delicious seafood. The cottage is fully equipped with modern conveniences but will make you feel a world away. We highly recommend it and hope to return. Disclaimer: We had fabulous weather while there, which may have put some extra rose color in our glasses. *And a warning for other cautious right-side drivers: It will take you a solid 30-35" to get to much in the way of shops and restaurants. We decided to flip our days around, have nice restaurant lunches in town and indulgent picnics at "home" for dinner, and it worked quite well.)

Amazing place, amazing hosts!
Thank you for a wonderful holiday! Everything was great, the house was stunning, it was just amazing. Our best time away together yet, quality time together in the perfect place. The hosts were such lovely people and we enjoyed having a good chat every day, very friendly. Was lovely spending time with the resident animals aswell, the highland cattle were a beautiful sight and I saw my first ever stag. I’ve grown up as a “townie” and I always look forward to my holidays in the countryside. Best holiday yet in the most beautiful location. Absolute beauty and seclusion
We so enjoyed our stay in the Baltimore Farms cottage this past week. Niall and Johanna were perfect hosts, welcoming us and then giving us the privacy we needed. The 400 acre property has rolling hill, a private loch, sheep, cows and sweeping views. It is 1.7 miles off the main road, so you have a private slice of heaven! We would highly recommend

A peaceful wildlife haven
What a great place - owls, golden eagles, osprey, buzzard dragonflies, bats, Black grouse, highland cattle….if you want peace and quiet with beautiful views, this is the place, if you want to be surrounded by wildlife then this is the place. If you want to walk with beautiful views all around this is the place. Need I say more - what a gem! The cottage itself is wonderful with everything you could need, private and cosy and is exceptionally clean. I’ve stayed here in summer and can only imagine how beautiful the estate is through the changing seasons. I would highly recommend this place as it’s remote enough to be tranquil but not far to Oban if you need to stock up. Easy access to the Mull ferry for a day trip as well. 🙂

Nearly....simply the best.
A very beautiful peaceful and tranquil place to spend a weekend. The cottage was everything we wanted, clean and equipped with all the nessecities. The one thing that concerned us was taking our car up the 1 and a half mile track to the cottage it wasn't car freindly if you have a 4x4 or a land rover....great but a low profile car could be prone to damage to underneath car or punctures. If we ever have a more suitable vehicle we'd be back in a minute....scottish scenery and nature at it's best.

Perfect cottage in rural location
This property was perfect for our break away. Had all the amenities to be self sufficient. Peaceful & beautiful surrounds. Owners friendly. Would highly recommend. Don't forget plenty of fire lighters & logs for the wood burner inside & hot tub.

Escape to the country
My wife and I had a fantastic trip to Ballimore, it was a perfect place to relax and unwind from the hustle and bustle. Our dog loved playing with his ‘dog squad’ on the farm and had a blast just running wild. The scenery is spectacular and there is loads to do in the local area. Thanks for having us and I’m sure we will be back!

Total relaxation. Surrounded by nothing but nature. A getaway from the ratrace.
We spent a quiet, relaxing 10 days in the lovely cottage on the estate. Being met by Highland cattle, 2 dogs and a mischievous sheep whenever we went out or came back each day. Beautiful scenery and a good base for visiting the surrounding area once you got off the long drive to the house. Very hospitable hosts and children

Peaceful and back to nature
Absolutely beautiful place. Isolated and quiet. Nice break from civilization. We loved the cows and sheep, lake and views. Make sure you stay a while to decompress and enjoy nature. Just be aware that it is about 25 minutes off the main road down a gravel road. Lovely cottage with all you'll need.
