"We were impressed by the cleanliness of the cottage. On arrival we discovered tomatoes ripening on the window sill, scrummy fresh bread, a fruit bowl full of fruit, a selection of cereals, butter, jam, milk - to name a few. This is a wonderful place to escape to. It is quiet and peaceful, with huge views over the river and beyond.The only downside was no TV and no doors on the bedrooms, but that didn't worry us, and the reasonable price took this into consideration. "Excellent in many ways, clean and tidy and well appointed. It would have been better if there was a toilet on the mezzanine as my wife has to use a walking stick and the bannister did not go all the way to the ground floor. Inconvenient at night if you wished to use the toilet.The road was noisy at times.The booking agency did not provide entry details before we arrived. The neighbours were very helpful."

"We had a beautiful stay and was most certainly a home away from home, as described. The place was clean comfortable and cosy, with all the amenities needed for a wonderful stay. The views were stunning and the playhouse & neighboring sheep were a locely feature. Highly recommend!!"

"The place was immaculate, and had everything! The deck had amazing views of the harbour and a Kereru nesting in a bush just on the other side of the glass ballistrade. The birdsong was so fabulous that we didn't listen to our music the whole time. Tui, Kereru and Morepork talked and sang to us and Fantails accompanied us on the beautiful bushwalks. The private beach was terrific for both us and our dog, but the best part was Aprilanne, William and their dogs. We could not have had better hosts...
