"The Amber House has a very friendly and homely feel to it, I found it a very enjoyable stay and as a solo traveller as my room was a good size and very comfortable.If the weather is nice they have a lovely garden to sit out in and also a ' honesty bar' which has a nice selection in it. I thoroughly recommend you stay here if you're ever in Paignton. "

"From arrival host was great and friendly. All weekend he went out of his way to help. Rooms nice and clean some smaller than others but still good for the price u pay. Good selection for freshly cooked breakfasts. Five min walk to beach area and free parking will be back when we come next year."

"We were extremely pleased with the property, very clean and everything supplied for our stay. One small suggestion some kind of shower caddy is needed - no where to put shower gel, shampoo etc except on the floor of the shower."

"The cottage has everything you need for a lovely stay. Very well equipped kitchen, fantastic walk in shower, amazing location and no trouble parking. We parked around the green when we first got there and although we then didn't use the car saw plenty of spaces appear throughout our stay. The village has some lovely pubs particularly The London Inn opposite the cottage, cafes particularly The Clipper and shops and if you want a peaceful and laid back break. Thank you"
