"The property is nestled right in a corner with woods as a backdrop. It was SO clean on the inside and everything was well maintained and accomadating. A seperate little bunkhouse was the perfect getaway for my teenage boys, who each got to stay for a night. There is an "outhouse" which has the modern needs, including an insta-heat hot shower. "We all came up for a deer hunt for a week it was perfect for what we wanted and needed, the cabin had plenty of towels and supplies and plenty of pillows and blankets and had plenty of privacy, im sure some people would pick it to death with paint scratches or cosmetic stuff with furniture but it was exactly what we was looking for and the week long stay was great i would highly recommend to everyone and we will be back in the future"

"It was a great stay, our family along with 2 other families stayed here on fall break. It had beautiful foliage, house was very nice and well kept, and it had the perfect amount of room for our party. Southern IN was beautiful in October and would visit again. "

"We enjoyed the stay and had plenty of privacy. We did have one little problem when we arrived. The cleaning service hadn't made it to the cabin and the previous tenants were absolute slobs! There was opened steak and other food in the fridge, a ton of dirty dishes in the sink, the linens were soiled. However, our host Ashley was very responsive. "We had a great time at the cabin. It was secluded and we barely saw another person, but lots of deer. The cabin had a notebbok with past guest, which was a nice touch. The bugs were not bad, but the hot August sun was present, bring sunscreen. The cabin did have a chair with a bad leg, which my partner found without injury. The hot did stop turning on, but after watching a short YouTube video, it was easy to reset, and worked for the rest of the trip. "

"This cabin was perfect for my husband and I! We are able to relax and enjoy the quiet. The location is secluded and quiet yet perfectly close to the winery and lake areas. "Overall, we loved Santa's Lodge. The staff was great, it was clean, breakfast had a nice variety of choices, and the big yard was great for playing outside. The only reason i gave 4 instead of 5 stars is the pullout beds. They were terribly thin, uncomfortable and loud. If you don't need the pullouts, the rooms were fine. They're dated, but clean and comfortable. But if you need the pull-out for someone to sleep on, I'd book two rooms next time instead. "
