My husband and our two teen daughters loved our stay. The view was incredible and such a nice change of pace from our home in Texas. We walked to Port Clyde several times for coffee and meals. We walked to the lighthouse, just down the street, several times. It was a great spot for watching sunsets.
The house had plenty of space, nice towels, it was overall very comfortable. We didn't cook, but the kitchen seemed well-stocked. The furniture was really comfy, even the outdoor furniture (especially on the lower deck). We walked around a lot, but also spent a ton of time sitting and staring at the water.
A couple recommendations: The sun comes up crazy early. All of the bedrooms were fully bright by 4am. Next time, I'll take a sleep mask. Also, our AT&T phones didn't have service at all at the house. It was fine once we were in and connected to wifi, but getting in was a little challenging without being able to access my email. Maybe take a screenshot of the access code.
Clarifications: In one spot the listing says there are one and a half bathrooms, but there are actually two and a half. There is one full bathroom downstairs (with the coolest toilet seat ever) and upstairs are three bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. There is also and a bunkhouse outside that has two twin beds. We didn't use it, but it appears to be included in the rental (?). Whomever stays there will need to come back into the house to use the bathroom.
