Snow Day
It is a lovely little cabin on a charming little pond. It came a snow storm the day we came here. The interstates were fine. The side roads were a little messy, but we had a wonderful time.

Get away for workout gparents
This was my Christmas gift from my husband because I was at the end of my rope with caregiving and grandkids. We came unplugged, and enjoyed the quiet, recharged. Will definitely come back!

Lived up to our expectations
We had such a peaceful, relaxing, comfortable stay here. The property was beautiful, and the place was very quiet, both inside and out. The view was gorgeous! We had everything we needed for any cooking, relaxing, entertainment, etc. The gas fireplace did a nice job of keeping the place warm and cozy, so that we didn't need to really use the thermostat much at all, except when we went to bed (the fireplace times out at 30/60/120 minutes - depending on your setting). The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well during our stay. We used the charcoal grill once (bring charcoal and probably lighter fluid...we had to make a special trip even with the instant light charcoal), but we did not use the firepit because it got really cold outside during our December trip and we had some rain, too. I think it would have been fun though if we had. There seemed to be plenty of wood available for it. There is a nice store nearby that has most any supplies you might need and a decent amount of groceries and freshly made items. There are also many cool parks and various stores to check out in the area if you want to do some excursions. We went to Colditz Cove State Natural Area, which was well worth it and I highly recommend! The trail is a loop that takes you down and around a waterfall. It's not that long round-trip, either. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would stay here again!

Thanksgiving celebration at the cabins
We rented all three cabins to celebrate Thanksgiving with our family. It was an absolute perfect setting for everyone. We all cooked in our separate cabins and came together to eat dinner. We fished off the docks and caught and released some Blue gill. Saw deer, heard turkey’s and coyotes. Absolute fabulous time! All three cabins are a great time and so cozy! We love the gas fireplaces!

Spent 3 nights in this cabin and couldn’t be more pleased. Everything was as advertised and the “private pond” was great. Fished several times and caught a few! I saw some big bass , but couldn’t get them to cooperate!! The bed was comfortable and the amenities were great. Will definitely be back!!

We enjoyed staying at this cozy cabin for a week while our kiddos were at summer camp. Was fun to check out the Muddy Pond community, take hikes around the property, and enjoy the beautiful pond.

Perfect couples getaway!
My wife & I booked this property for an extended weekend. Everything about our stay was absolutely amazing! The pond was well stocked with bass & bluegill. The cabin was well stocked with all the essentials. The privacy was nice. We went into town once & ate at the Mexican restaurant that was recommended by the host. There was a menu at the cabin. It was excellent. We used the grill one evening. There is even a rowboat to paddle around the lake on. We highly recommend this cabin to a couple that is looking for a private, secluded, quiet stay.

Two's company cabin
The location is beautiful, serene and private. My spouse loved fishing in the pond. Quite relaxing. The heart shaped tub was unclean and the shower head in the the bathroom was poor quality. We may consider a future visit next year if the tub is clean and a better shower head is replaced.

Anniversary Getaway
We celebrated our 36th anniversary at Two’s Company Cottage at Cabin in the Woods. Loved the secluded area and the opportunity to enjoy some quiet time and visit the local area. Will definitely make a return visit!
