The neighbors are closer than we expected (with barking dogs) which was an inconvenience at times. It’s not the properties problem i understand that. The driveway is very tight and would not fit a trailer. Overall it’s a cute little cabin!"

"I am disappointed by this rental process. I’ve enjoyed prior rentals that are Hosted by the Owner...as in the vrBO title. Vacasa is a management company, and they unfortunately knew nothing about the property except what was described on the site, and some of that was inaccurate. They couldn’t tell me what levels the bedrooms and bathrooms were on, or if any had en-suite bathrooms. They are not prompt responding to messaging, if they respond at all. Hours on the phone didn’t get me help or...

"The overall experience was good. The view from the deck is outstanding. The only issue we had was when using the oven it smoked up the cottage. The amenities were great. On our first night it was cold and the furnace warmed it right up. We would return to the Loon Lodge."

"Great house for a large family vacation up north on a lake. Everyone had their own space but under one roof. The kitchen was amazing and had all utensils we needed. Bring your own seasonings and sharp knives. Plenty of fridge and freezer space. Had a great time cruising the chain of lakes on our pontoon (not included in rental, we brought our own.)"

"The house was perfect for our family which included our children and grandchildren. With the hot temperatures that week, the upstairs was tough to cool down but we did enjoy the heat during our stay."

"Property was spacious enough for our whole family. We enjoyed the whole Up North feel from the log cabin to the wonderful outdoor property. Very peaceful spot on a beautiful lake. Were able to rent a pontoon boat at a nearby marina."

"We had a quick stay and mainly used the property to sleep and shower. It was in a lovely secluded place, very quiet!! Wish we would have had more time to enjoy it. Only thing I would suggest is that they clean the cobwebs out of the bathroom and the windows. Everything else was very clean!"

"Property is nice, needs some maintenance. Fridge had cracked drawer and didn’t keep everything cool as it should, grill outside was dirty and fire pit area a mess. Dining table and chairs and sectional sofa needs to be replaced. Biggest issues is the management company, Vacasa, and their horrible communication! The cabin has no cell service and no land line so we couldn’t contact them from the cabin with a snowstorm approaching. We had to call their customer service number when we went into town...

"My mom, two daughters and I had a great time at Northern House! The house was immaculate and the welcome package of snacks, cold waters in the fridge and ice cold mugs was fantastic. The kids loved the arcade area and playing board games on the gorgeous kitchen table! The kitchen and bathrooms were well appointed and nothing was missed.
