"I can honestly say I've never stayed in a cabin without a restroom or electricity and I heated it with the wood they provided which was very funlight were propane lights, lit with a match. However the drive up and down the Mt. Was at the least, not for the faint of heart...very rough on my car."

"It's a very basic place. I think I paid a lot more that the place its worth. Maybe if I arrived directly, the fees would have been much lower. I feel scammed. The place is a good place but not for the price I paid. I paid almost the same in the W San Francisco Hotel! Not happy."

"My spouse and I stayed at this property....husband was a bit skeptical about staying in a geodesic dome, but this awesome experience won him over. The dome was spotless, beautifully decorated to complement the natural surroundings. Everything we needed was provided...especially extra blankets and heaters because wife is always cold!! There was even a wood stove with long-burning log provided to accentuate the ambience. This was such a cool place....I hope we can return in the future. ...

"We really enjoyed staying at Ash Mountain for many reasons. To begin with, the setting is superb: a quiet mountain overlooking a river. The constant sound was super peaceful. Communication with Lori, the owner, was great and she helped us to ensure a pleasant stay. For example, we did not know about the harsh winter they had had at Sequoia as we do not live in the US, but she warned us about road and park closures so we could plan our days. "I had to get out the city and wanted to explore Sequoia National Park without having to stay in some touristy hotel. This house was better than perfect. It was the right amount of secluded while also be close to restaurants and shops — and right next to Sequoia. Spending the day at the park, surrounded by tourists made coming back to this property to relax on the riverbank in seclusion and peace almost made the house itself the primary attraction of this trip. 11/10, would book again. "This home was large, well appointed, and clean. We enjoyed our stay. The outside area was lovely but dated. The hottub made a very loud high pitched squeal when it pumped hot water, but would quiet afterward. The coffee pot was broken upon arrival, but the manager was super quick in replacing it.
