"I was really looking forward to my stay at The Candlesticks. However as soon as I entered, I began to have my doubts. The bar area, where the owner received us, looked particularly shabby and it smelt musty. It was 3pm (an hour after checking-in should have started) and the room wasn't ready. It wasn't such a big deal, but it was another warning sign. I was in a single room, which made a certain saying about a cat spring to mind. The bathroom was fine and the tea/coffee making facilities were...

"Lovely hotel with a cute courtyard where we had lunch. Stayed in the large suite with its own lovely garden. The room was big, two bathrooms and nice big bed. Coffee machine and kettle with fresh milk in the fridge and fluffy bathrobes plus easy ample parking. The downside was it was quite noisy from the road, bifold doors across the division from bedroom to sitting room would solve this problem. Also could do with body moisturiser….none was supplied. Overall great hotel."

"We had an amazing stay. It had everything we needed for a night. There were board games and plenty of books to keep you entertained. The bathroom was very tidy and clean. The bed was super comfortable. The details of the property added extra comfort too. We were visiting Stamford so it was an easy 15min drive through countryside. The owner was super friendly, very communicative and attentive. Thank you again! "

Tiene muchos espacios diferentes: restaurantes de diversa categoría, bar, espacios para fiestas incluida discoteca y un terreno enorme. La habitación amplia, con una decoración exquisita. Y las dos “recepcionistas” que nos atendieron tanto a la llegada como a la salida muy amables y agradables."

"Room was a bit small but not the fault of the hotel owners. Staff were very polite and very helpful. Well worth a stay but no meals at night for half of the week but plenty of places too eat out in the town. A bit over priced. "
