CATASTROPHE! We rented the accommodation from Florence for 10 days. At check-in, Florence told us that the water might occasionally be cut off for short periods. There was a large water tank placed right in the middle of the living room, which was supposed to supply water in case of an emergency. However, the pump connected to it was extremely loud. None of this was mentioned in the listing and was only casually brought up by her upon arrival.
On the second day, the water completely stopped working. We contacted Florence, and she told us that this could happen and that we should be patient. Shortly after, the water tank was completely empty as well. As a result, there was no water at all in the accommodation.
Another traveler staying next door told us that she had already been without water for several weeks and that Florence had done nothing about it. In the end, we had to use pool water to flush the toilet.
Despite multiple follow-up messages, Florence ignored our attempts to contact her and offered no solution. The communication was catastrophic. As a host, Florence is completely incompetent and does not respond to problems or inquiries in any way.
Fortunately, we were able to move out after a short time. To this day, we have not received any reply to our messages nor an apology from Florence, and she continues to rent out the apartment in this condition. Never again – and I hope that no one else has to experience this absolute disaster.
