"The house was beautiful and we found plenty of things to do in the neighborhood. The only problem we had was communication with the property manager. There was a construction worker on site working at the carriage house and he said he had no idea that people were renting the house for the weekend. The first night we noticed the one door in the dining room did not lock and the knob fell off of it outside and in the morning it was windy and we heard the carriage house door banging with the wind....

"We stay. In Alton Bay each year for a couple of concerts at Bank of NH Pavilion in Gilford. We extend it by staying for a couple of days at Lake Winnipesaukee The motel is perfectly located close to the venue and on the lake for swimming and boating while visiting BNH Pavilion. We enjoyed walking across the street to the lake and up the hill to go the concert next door. We were also a short drive from Weirs Beach. We had great communication and hope to stay there again."

"The house was beautifully renovated with that old time charm. Beds are comfy and plenty of towels and linens. We loved the wood burning stove where we did jigsaw puzzles and also great outdoor space. Perfect walking trail straight out the door to the orchard and other hikes also. Would highly recommend "

"I didn’t look close at the on-line pics so at first arrival I had concerns. It’s a charming older style lake house that could use a bit of pampering but it was very clean and comfortable for our group of 8. The host and management company were great and easy to communicate with. We came up for our daughter’s wedding and we all had a very nice weekend. Thank you"
