"Had a one night stay following a trip to Hobbiton movie set. Stayed in chalet Frodo which is only a 10-15 min drive from Hobbiton.The chalet is very clean and well appointed. While quite compact it had everything the two of us required for an overnight stay. We had dinner at Osteria restaurant in the main centre which is only a 3 min drive away. Thoroughly recommend Osteria for quality of food, portion size , atmosphere and price"

"This home was good for a 2 night trip. We were in the area to see Hobbiton, glow worm caves, and do a hot air balloon. This was a central location for all three. The lake across the street was pleasant and enhanced the trip. Great for morning workout/walk. Around the corner was a workout station that got the job done. There were only 2 bathrooms and showers. The host was responsive and friendly. The courtyard was nice for reading. "

"The posting didn’t include enough picture of the nice bathrooms. The house is beautiful, with cherry trees in the back and the front. The host, Yvonne, was very thoughtful. There was bread at the property for our first breakfast, and information about the local area. Overall, we had a wonderful stay."

"Excellent set up for that escape that has everything in the private confines of a country farm. Kane was our Host and he is the nicest guy. Shared stories of the area, gave us a scenic tour. Our Border Collie loved swims in the lake and the rolling green landscape was a very chill vibe. The bbq and kitchen in the bus are well equip for camp style cooking and the bed was so comfy! I'd love to return with friends. If you need anything from town, it's a short drive, otherwise leave it all behind...

The accommodation was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed location was awesome with a great outlook. Somewhere to really relax and unwind after a busy day. "Gorgeous house with so much space for a group of 9. With 3 showers and toilets, no queues and such an easy getaway. Pool side party was also great fun. We loved seeing and interacting with the horses. We also hosted a tea party for my family one morning with the owner's permission, which was a huge drawcard seeing as most properties don't allow even quiet gatherings. Fast communication from the owner, overall great place to stay!"
