"This house is like a museum! It’s beautiful inside and out. The home wasn’t as private or secluded as I’d hoped. The owner lets the neighbors park their boat at the dock so they roll up on you while you’re sunbathing, looking in the window at you while you’re in bed and roam back and forth through the yard at all hours of the night. This was the only flaw for me and it’s a big one when you pay almost a 1000 a night to have privacy and peace. "

"This little cottage was perfect for my wife and I. We started coming to the Cape in the Fall because the Summers are too crowded for us there. This cottage was nearly perfect for our stay. It is nestled in a small loop off of the road where there are a few cottages. Not bad in October but probably more bustling in the Summer. The only thing I didn't like was that the path down to the beach is alongside of this cottage and when coming off the beach, everyone is passing the back deck. Otherwise,...

"Really well kept and clean. I read reviews complaining about spiders, but there really weren’t any, and the few I did see, were out of the way and doing their job since there were no other bugs! Great fenced in yard. We had planned to bring our aging dog at the time of booking, but she passed away prior to us coming. She would have loved it.Kids loved the tree swing. Very private, but neighbors were friendly when going past. Really close to the beach and a quick drive to the canal and boardwalk....

"We enjoyed everything about our stay at this cottage. So cozy and comfortable We found everything we needed . Even found beach chairs. Host was so nice to communicate with. If you’re looking for a charming cottage in a great location this is it! The only thing we wanted that was not there was a couple of wine glasses. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at Tom’s place at the Breakwaters! Extremely clean, fantastic location, comfortable beds and it was equipped with everything we needed for a beautiful week on the Cape with our 2 girls (6 and 8). We have stayed at Breakwaters for several years and this was another wonderful experience! Will definitely be back!"

"We loved our stay in this cozy, rustic cottage. My husband enjoys fishing at the canal and my son and nephews enjoyed crabbing and playing on the private beach. The view from the sliding doors cannot be beat. It felt secluded, relaxing, and peaceful but everything you need is a short drive away. We wish we could have stayed longer, but back to reality for us. Showering outside was a little strange at first but added to the fun of the whole weekend. We hope to be back soon. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 7-day stay in the cottage. It served as a great base for wider exploration of the entire cape, and was nicely located only a few yards from Colonial Acres beach on Lewis Bay, a lovely beach for chilling, paddling, watching wildlife, the ferries running in and out of Hyannis and as it happened perfect for watching the end of summer fireworks across the bay."
