Great little place to stay. Communication with management was easy and well receptive. Loved the space. The floors were a bit dirty. The hot tub was dirty, not turned on and the water level was very low so we couldn't use it (big bummer as it was winter). There was food opened and left in the cabinets.

HOA Nightmare

I honestly saw the HOA requirement and almost decided against the place because I found it odd. I then figured maybe this was like most HOAs that operate to keep the neighborhood clean, orderly and have nice amenities. Twelve dollars per person a day is incredibly steep when you can only access these areas for 6.5 hours of the day and cannot use your own things. They had maybe three kayaks to rent that looked like they were trash picked and peddle boats that have seen better days. Most of the staff were incredibly rude. There is trash everywhere in this community, and homes falling down. The house we stayed in was nice enough but there was clearly a party prior to us that I ended up cleaning up after. The hot tub has a musty Oder and I ended up forbidding anyone from using it after I smelled it because it’s a sign that the levels are not correct. This leads me to believe it isn’t shocked after each rental. I also found false eyelashes on the side and beer caps and balloons all around. There was also a Broken flat screen tv, storm door and all but two screen were missing making us have to sweat it out on beautiful cool nights. The hose was also broken which is a huge issue for a Pocono rental as people spend nights by the fire. My husband just brought water around from the sink but others may not think ahead. It’s a shame that a few bad renters, workers, and residents are ruining a potential great vacation area..

Very happy

The properly was exactly like it was described. It was a nice quiet location. The house was perfect not too small but not huge. If you need a place to stay for a weekend it is great. Ps If you enjoy watching deer this is the place we would sit in the hot tub and the deer would walk within five feet of us.

Great property! Tons of outdoor space, awesome fire pit and tons of wood. House was clean and plenty of space for us. Well stocked with coffee, paper towels, dish detergents, trash bags, shampoo conditioner and body wash…amongst other things. We swam at the pool but didn’t make it to the lake. Would rent again for sure. Owner very responsive.

Excellent for a small family.

Recently stayed at this Tobyhanna community property. It is ideal for families. House was clean and cozy. We visited with our adult children and an infant grandaughter. Pool was lovely and my daughter and son-in-law made use of the tennis courts. We recommend Tobyhanna State Park for trail and kyacking. Escape the Room was fun and memorable!

Bright, Clean, and Cozy House

The house was cozy and lovely. It was spotless, the linens and blankets smelled fresh and clean, and the towels were soft and fluffy. We were pleased to find things like shampoo/conditioner/body wash, toilet tissue, and paper towels provided. There were also some bottles of water and snacks we enjoyed. The owner was very kind and communicative, and she was thoughtful enough to warn us of a storm forecasted for the night before our scheduled departure (we hadn’t known!). She had someone come to salt the driveway and the front steps before even one snowflake had fallen. The only thing we’d alert other guests to is that the mattress on one of the queen beds was hard and uncomfortable (in our opinion), but we’d nonetheless stay here again.

Anniversary mini vacation

If I could give 10 stars we would my wife and I had a great time. Yadira communicated with me from well before we got there until we got back home. The house is beautiful, clean and has everything you need. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone else. Thanks again Yadira you are a fabulous host.

Renting this property was a great experience. I was actually her first booking and everything was perfect. No fowl old odors lurking like many I have encountered. Yadira had all the essentials you would normally have to go out and buy. It was very spacious and updated. Very clean, she also had a welcome basket for me and my kids to make smores. She even put together a guide with restaurants and places to go in the area.If I had any questions or concerns I could reach out and she would swiftly get back to me. I can't wait to rent it out again. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to get away.. Thank you Yadira for a wonderful experience.
