"Llegamos de madrugada, y nadie nos esperaba solo un sobre con instrucciones. Fue muy difícil encontrar la habitacion, pues no imaginamos que estaría frente hotel, aunque estaba claro en las instrucciones. No nos gustó el olor del hotel en general. "Nice clean hotel right in the main area of tiny, little Fort Davis. We got a code emailed the night before to let ourselves in. Places to eat were right next door or across the road. Note that they all close at 8 or 9PM. Super easy drive from the hotel to the state park, national park and observatory. The only downsides were that the floors were especially squeaky. "We stayed here on our way out from Austin to Balmorhea Springs. We got there late and got graced with one of the starriest skies I've ever seen and spotted more meteors than I'd ever seen! Woke up to a gorgeous mountain view, and was sad to drive off... until I got to the the Springs, of course. Highly recommended! Would love to return."

"This is such a lovely property! So peaceful on the patio in the mornings and evenings. Getting to pet the owner's horses was a bonus, too! Super fast communication for any needs from the host. Split bedrooms make it perfect for couples. Close to the main street in town but still 'away'. Highly recommend for a trip to Ft. Davis!"
