"We had a glitch at check in because we didn’t get our code in advance. Fortunately, the neighbor who is the caretaker of the place gave us the code shortly after arrival.The kitchen was fully-equipped and very clean as well as the rest of the home. Great place for a short vacation with family. Fishing, swimming and boating were the highlights. Lots of room for everyone. Would definitely book again!"

We found groceries and more within an easy driving distance in the town of Houghton and mapped out our path of exploration each night before heading out the next morning. "This is our 4th time staying here, so yeah, that probably says a lot about what I think of both the hosts and the property. My family absolutely loves it here, and this trip did not disappoint. We love the beach and spent a great deal of time there. Got lucky on most days with super calm waters that we swam in by the fire.We don't get cell service up here, and the wifi doesn't reach the beach...and that's fine by us, it's nice getting the entire family off the devices and spending time together!"

"What an amazing find to stay at the Quincy House for one night. We stayed in what was formally known as the maids quarters of this historical home. There was a lot of attention to detail for travelers including fresh cut flowers. There was a small refrigerator with waters, keuring for hot beverages, along with breakfast bars & oatmeal for a quick breakfast or snack. The hosts even had thimbleberry jam for sale.
