Nice large lake house, with wildlife including deer, rabbits, chipmunks, bald eagles, and mosquitoes (repellent spray was provided). Host was quick to reply to inquiries. Primary bed and huge leather recliner sectionals were comfy, and there were plenty of flatscreen TV's and convenient USB charging ports. We liked the gas fireplace downstairs by the pool table (the one in the family room is wood-burning & we didn't look around the yard for firewood). Kitchen was well appointed but oddly all dinnerware and drinking glasses were plastic, silverware was extremely thin, and knives were dull. The primary shower was large but moldy, had a burnt out light, low water pressure, and the water, especially in the shower, smelled like lake water. Unexpectedly, no Hair Dryer was provided, so BYO. We used the nice washer & dryer to re-wash the towels with unscented detergent before use due to a strong perfumy odor. We were a bit unimpressed by the cleaning crew due to the mold in the showers and surfaces remaining soiled from past guests. A nonstick-safe Scotch-Brite kitchen sponge would have been handy, as would a garage door opener remote. We did enjoy our stay, especially kayaking on the quiet lake (check in the pontoon boat for life jackets in case of a spill into the cold murky lake water) and hiking amidst the colorful fall leaves.
