A memorable stay- lovely property, great location
The property is beautiful! The rooms are large and each has a bathroom- all were very clean. The pool is lovely and view from the pool is the sunset- all outdoor spaces have views, as do all of the rooms. The design and decor are also lovely. There are two separate office/public spaces in the villa in case some members of your party need to work remotely. The only property downside is the kitchen is a bit small if you have multiple people who want to use it simultaneously.
The villa provided information on local chefs, shopping, and transportation providers. For those not familiar with the area, it may be a bit stressful to navigate transportation options broadly- we drove (and the villa has parking for 3 cars), but navigating the local roads is a challenge. If possible, consider a smaller car. The local town (Torno) is nice and has a grocery store- 13 min walk. Lots of good hiking in the area, and location of the villa is great- 15/20 min from town of Como.
The host gave great arrival information via a few videos, unfortunately I did not watch until later (my error). But they explain most questions you will have -so watch those before arriving! Best to communicate with team on WhatsApp, where answers came quickly.
We booked this property very late this year (in August for a Sept stay), so did not have many options to compare it to - thus we can’t comment on the relative price/value relationship vs the market.
